SPAN 101; 102 Introductory Spanish (3; 3)
Emphasis on pronunciation, grammar, and conversation. Increased emphasis on
reading in second semester. (Fall and Spring Semesters)
SPAN 110 Spanish I (4)
An introduction to the understanding of the sounds and forms of Spanish as
language and culture. Practice in reading, writing, and listening will be emphasized.
(Offered through External Degree only)
SPAN 150 Spanish II (4)
Prerequisite: SPAN 110 or equivalent. Further development of skills
established in Spanish I. Expansion of vocabulary through more extensive literary
and cultural readings. (Offered through External Degree only)
SPAN 151; 152 Intermediate Spanish (3; 3)
Prerequisite: SPAN 102 or equivalent (two years of high school Spanish).
Expansion of vocabulary through more extensive literary and cultural readings.
