GEOG 250 Introduction to Physical Geography (3)
An introductory course including map interpretation, landforms, natural resources,
and world climatic and vegetation regions. Emphasis on the relationship between
man and his natural environment. (Fall Semester)
GEOG 270 World Geography (3)
A general treatment of the world's geographic patterns in their social, economic,
and political aspects interpreted in the light of physical and cultural conditions
and current situations and problems. (Spring Semester)
GEOG 280 Cultural Geography (3)
A regional and cultural study of various countries, with emphasis on the inter-relationships
of the social and physical aspects of these areas. The principal features of
climate, topography resources, and industry are portrayed through factual and
cartographic studies. (Available only through the External Degree Program)
